Recommend you to open device manager by doing a right-click on the Windows button. May I know the model/product number of your computer? I understand that you are unable to install Realtek audio driver. Greetings to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. I'm no IT expert (far from it) but perhaps the update notice I received wasn't really relevant or necessary for my computer. I had the same problem with the Realtek Audio Driver, and had downloaded the recommended update a few times (at 274mb per time!) and was going to follow the directions given above, but a page with the option to test for latest update came up, so I did that and it said that I had the correct software for my computer. Business PCs, Workstations and Point of Sale Systems.
